I had a great week with lots of progress on my happiness project activities, uncluttering, and Cherry Blossom training.
Let's review my week...
Cherry Blossom Training
I had a good training week including another solid track workout and a 7-mile run today for the long run. I nostalgically remembered the first time I ran 7 miles in 2014 when I was training for my first Cherry Blossom Ten Mile Run.
I just re-read my blog post about it. It was comforting to see that I had some of the same aches and uncertainties back then. And it was awesome to remember that was the day I met and ran with Karen Reisinger, with whom I've shared many miles, including the 2015 17.75K (recap) that gave us access to the 2015 Marine Corps Marathon (recap).

Happiness Project
I took some time this weekend to answer the January Reflection Questions and set February resolutions for my happiness project. I took stock of progress made towards my 20 for 2020 list:
1. Did 20 minutes of exercise at least 20 days in January
3. Saw a specialist for my shoulder pain
4. Started training for Cherry Blossom
5. Started a photography course
6. Drew doodles most days
10. Meditated regularly
11. Did LEGO building with Freddy
15. Did January Happiness Project activities
16. Did Uncluttered activities
17. Kept a bullet journal
18. Did my morning practice consistently
I gave some thought to potential "personal commandments" (Gretchen Rubin's personal commandments are here). Potential ideas that resonated for me this month:

I gave some thought to potential "personal commandments" (Gretchen Rubin's personal commandments are here). Potential ideas that resonated for me this month:
- Create space
- Make time to play
- Less is more
- Aim lower
- Balance (e.g., not "all or nothing")
My February resolutions related to the monthly theme (Energy) are:
- Plan weekly exercise commitments on calendar
- Spend some time playing with LEGO each week
- Do jumping jacks/hop up and down/dance whenever I tell myself "I'm so tired" (if I'm in a meeting or public place where this isn't feasible, tap my toes or some other discreet movement)
- Listen to an energizing song when I feel low energy or unfocused
