Strive to Thrive

I've decided I'm no longer trying to move "from Survive to Thrive." I'm there. I'm thriving!

That doesn't mean that every day is perfect. It just means that I now know:
  • what "thriving" looks like for me
  • how to intentionally create an environment that supports that vision
  • how to get back on track when I slip into "survival mode"
I'm rebranding my accountability posts as "Strive to Thrive." What will that look like?

Monthly Posts

I've been posting weekly for the last 18 months, but these past few weeks I realized that was too often. It takes a lot of time to post every week. Time that could be spent on other things I want to prioritize.

It's important to me to keep blogging. It helps keep me accountable. Even more important, friends and family have told me they find inspiration in my posts. That means so much to me!

Instead of posting every week, I'll write a monthly "Strive to Thrive" post.

Strive to Thrive

For the past seven months, I've been focused on getting out of survival mode. Getting out of my black and white existence and crossing the bridge to the colorful world of living intentionally and in the moment.

My bridge between "survive" and "Thrive"
(originally referenced in from Survive to Thrive:Week 4)

I have succeeded. Even in the pandemic - perhaps in part because of the pandemic - I realized I'm living in that colorful intentional world most of the time. And when I find myself on the wrong side of the bridge, I realize it much more quickly and I know how to get myself back across to the thriving side.

"Strive to Thrive" emphasizes the positive and reinforces how I want to live my life. I'm dropping the reference to survival mode completely and focusing instead on exploring the thriving world before me.

See you at the end of the month!
